Inspired by Water, Created in Glass This series of work encapsulates two of my loves, water and glass. I chose water as my inspiration because I have an affinity with it. I have always loved water and learned to swim from a young age, progressed to a competitive level and later to teaching. I worked throughout my degree as a swimming teacher. |

I became fascinated with glass from my first day working with it. I delight in the fluid and instant nature of the material. I find glass is the ideal medium to embody the qualities of water that I love such as colour, movement and fluidity. The pieces are made in free blown glass or in the kiln using a variety of colour techniques.
