Initially I was simply a social member of PACA, supporting and assisting the Group. But I then realised that, having been painting for a few years, I had accumulated a number of paintings that once framed I might be able to sell. At my wife's suggestion I agreed to have some paintings of local scenes printed and mounted, and was pleased to find that people were keen to purchase them, particularly the Liverpool water front scenes which I enjoy painting. Some of these have been sent abroad to family and friends. I also learnt how to make some Corn Dollies which are particularly popular for celebrations and as tokens of affection. These have attracted much interest at craft fairs.
